    FC Diez

    FC Diez Media is a commercial vehicle created to drive commercial growth and deliver innovative development strategies for CONMEBOL and its club competitions.

    This new venture holds responsibility for all global media rights sales and commercial consultancy across CONMEBOL Libertadores, Sudamericana and Recopa competitions; ranging from game presentation and competition formats to brand development and digital promotion. We were established at the start of 2018 and our goal is to elevate the CONMEBOL club competition products to world class standards and transform the digital experience for a global South American football audience.

    FC Diez Media maintains offices in Asuncion, Paraguay, Sao Paulo, Brazil and in Buenos Aires Argentina. The headquarters and main operational office of FC Diez Media sits in Asuncion and also acts as the main liaison between FC Diez Media and CONMEBOL. The office in Sao Paulo has a Marketing and Sponsorship delivery focus and the office in Buenos Aires is heavily involved in the success of the Broadcasting and Digital environments of CONMEBOL Club Competitions.

    Who You Are

    The Account Manager will work on behalf of CONMEBOL club competitions sponsorship program- while helping to further grow FC Diez's commercial network with relevant brands and agencies.

    We're looking for someone who is resourceful, bright, proactive, motivated, works well independently and as part of a team, and who will be passionate to be a part of the process of uplifting South American football and its' sponsorship program to a new level.

    For this position, we are looking for a strong Account Manager, with the ability to have exceptional attention to detail and interpersonal people skills and eager to learn quickly in a dynamic and international environment. The Account Manager will be the daily point of contact for CONMEBOL Club Competitions Sponsors & Partners, while ensuring the contracted rights are being delivered and support the Sponsorship Account Management team with various other cross departmental tasks.

    Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

    • Develop strong relationships with assigned sponsors and/or partners, ensuring highest client satisfaction, with meaningful & innovative activations and to ensure media, marketing and digital assets are adequality delivered to sponsors, in a timely fashion and complying with contract definition.
    • Anticipating needs, expectations, and upcoming deliverables from sponsors and/or partners, support them with relevant information with the objective of creating impactful campaigns during the various stages of the CONMEBOL Club Competitions
    • Provide regular updates, reports and recaps in relation to sponsor & partner activities.
    • Provide timely response to all requests from sponsors, partners and CONMEBOL and supply solutions to facilitate activations, campaigns and asset implementation.
    • Supervise access rights to official marks, coordinate sessions with sponsor and/or partners to educate them about brand guidelines.
    • Coordinate approval process for all creative/promotions/activations in relation to assigned sponsors and/or partners using CONMEBOL Club Competitions IP and assets
    • Manage day to day communication, meetings and status updates with assigned sponsors and/or partners, supervised by Sponsorship Director
    • Manage sponsor and/or partner ticket, hospitality and accreditation requests.
    • Travel as required to supervise any relevant sponsor and/or partner promotions/activations.
    • Support Account Management Director with continuous reporting and status updates and the coordination of overall Sponsorship recaps and presentations
    • Support Account Management team with cross departmental projects (e.g. coordination of footage, video and photo coverage for sponsor usage)
    • Work together with the Sponsorship Director and in coordination with colleagues from various departments

    You Will Have The Following Strengths

    • Native fluency in Spanish
    • Advanced command / fluency in English
    • Advanced command / fluency in Portuguese
    • BA/BS degree in related sector
    • Understanding of South American football market and its competitions, sponsorship landscape, as well as connections with advertisers in the region
    • At least 3 years of experience in the sports/entertainment business, marketing, business development and/or online media environment
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)
    • Team player with good communication skills, service minded, communicative, cooperative with good interpersonal skills
    • Regular travel is envisaged to meet clients and to support sponsorship marketing activations in the markets and during matches
    • Experience of working with large global consumer brands and sponsors
    • And proven client servicing skills
    • Ability to be flexible, proactive and adopt an innovative mind-set
    • Self-motivated, strong initiative and commitment to achieve objectives and deliverables
    • Ability to understand organization of complex and impactful events and how to promote these events and its sponsors via various social media channels reaching key target groups
    • Capability to multi-task under pressure, to set priorities and at the same time ensure focus on details, deadlines and achievement of objectives
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills
